Parasitic wasp ( Banded Pupa Parasite Wasp - Gotra sp ) laying egg in the pupa of a moth . The pupa is inside the cocoon . The wasp injects venom into the host ( caterpillar ) through their ovipositor which acts as a stinger and paralyze it. Then they lay the eggs ( oviposit ) inside the caterpillar or lays externally . The host lives until the parasitoid wasp larvae matures and eaten alive by the parasite wasp.
