To celebrate (and benefit) Amnesty International's 50th year advocating for human rights, an astonishing roster of artists from Adele to Ziggy Marley have all contributed their own interpretation of a Bob Dylan song. Many, like Pete Townshend and Lucinda Williams, give straightforward readings, while the likes of Rise Against and Queens of the Stone Age crank up the volume, and Elvis Costello and others get a little more experimental.
Eric Burdon, meanwhile, outfits "Gotta Serve Somebody" with a Bo Diddley beat. Google visited Burdon near his home in the desert of Joshua Tree, California, where he and his band treated us to a live version of the tune as the sun set behind them.
