GASSERS Go WILD at Knoxville Dragway - Southeast Gassers Association
4 speed gassers, especially those from the Southeast Gassers Association, are the most exciting cars you'll watch on the drag strip. 10,000+ rpm, old school suspension and 4 speed transmissions make these cars unpredictable, bringing back the excitement of heads up drag racing. The Southeast Gassers travel to several tracks a year, and they have a strict set of rules to follow to keep the action close, and to make sure they retain a period correct appearance.
The Southeast Gassers Association visited Knoxville Dragway for the second time in 2024, bringing a great crowd of cars, including an incredible Austin gasser that traveled from British Columbia to compete in C/Gas. Spectators love the event, and the action only gets more intense as eliminations take place. Enjoy my coverage, which is mostly of the two qualifying rounds.
