You Can Install Windows Apps on Linux - Wine Tutorial Installation
Steps to install an app (after wine is installed):
1. cd into the folder where the .exe file is located
2. Type "wine app_name.exe" (instead of app_name.exe type the real file name)
COMMANDS TO INSTALL WINE:
1. Check Architecture
2. Check foreign architectures
3. Add 32 Bit Architecture
4.Download & Add Repository Key
5. Download the WineHQ sources file
6. Update Apt
7. Install Wine
8. Configure Wine
1. dpkg --print-architecture
2. dpkg --print-foreign-architectures
3. sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
4a. sudo mkdir -pm755 /etc/apt/keyrings
4b. sudo wget -O /etc/apt/keyrings/winehq-archive.key https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/win...
5. sudo wget -NP /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubu...
6. sudo apt update
7. sudo apt install --install-recommends winehq-stable
8. wine winecfg
