Despite the Hue light strips being in 4 different segments, they are all powered from ONE power supply and controller. The controller then uses Litcessory splitters to split it into four separate lines. Each line then uses an ethernet converter to run the ethernet in the wall. Electricity is transmitted over the ethernet cable. Then under the cabinets, the ethernet pops back out to a converter, and the light strips are mounted under the cabinets.
