This one minute Onshape Lesson provides a quick overview of sketching in the 2D sketch environment to be later converted to 3D features. Onshape is a free cloud based 3D modeling program used for engineering design and 3D printing.
When sketching, attachment points to other entities will light up with a yellow box to indicate you can snap to that point, for example, an end point or a mid point
If you hover over an snap point but do not click the mouse, you can drag and see a projection line to project that point to another entire
Snap points and projections provide a quick way to add geometric constraints between sketch entities.
