How to Remove Vocals From a Song Using Audacity 2019

This video is for those who are looking to make a Karaoke version of a song to sing over. Do bare in mind that this method (or any other) would not completely remove vocals (I've explained why, keep reading). By far this is the easiest way to quickly turn a track into a karaoke FOR FREE.
How to Remove Vocals From a Song Using Audacity 2018
✅The new EQ is called "Graphics EQ" but if you want to get the legacy Equalizer, Click on Add / Remove Plug-ins.. at the top of the drop down menu and enable the "Equalizer"

Why does it work?
Usually on a music track, the vocals are in mono which means they sound exactly the same on both Left and and Right Channels.
But music is on Stereo, which means there are different sounds playing on the Left and Right Channels.
So taking one mono channel, and inverting its polarity will make them cancel each other out (NO MORE VOCALS). There's a catch though...
Why can't I completely take out the vocals?
Most songs have reverb and other vocals effects on them which make those effects sound in stereo, hence they end up not being cancelled out.
I will upload a video on how to do this using Adobe Audition, it does a slightly better job at retaining sound quality.
