DIYRE DOA Colour board with Red-25 Op Amp Adds Nice Mid-Forward Character for Voice Over
Listen to the Neumann BCM-104 change character to a more mid-forward, u87-ish tone with the addition of the DOA Colour board from @PetersonGoodwyn. I wanted to keep this preamp transformerless, but the addition of adding tonal flavors through different op-amps was too much to resist and the results are remarkable.
