Mao Naga Chiithuni Pfoki Kapra || 2024
Chiithuni Pfoki Kapra is the festival celebration of new year in a tradition way by the the Mao-Naga Community of Manipur every year. This year too Chiithuni Pfoki Kapra was Celebrated on 10th of January. The festival is held over a period of 6 days with each day holding an important function. It is believed that the rituals practised during the festival are a means for the villagers to request the gods and their ancestors to guide them throughout the year.
