Analog Lab V piano sound
Analog Lab V version 5.4.4 is finally native on Apple Silicon M1. This is quick recording of Bach's Prelude in C on my Roland FP-30 in slower tempo. I was recording into Logic Pro X running AL V with stock sound named German Intimate. The only change was cranking up the plugin volume back to 0dB.
I was hoping that thanks to the power of M1 Analog Lab would be easier on CPU, however, the CPU monitor is showing similar numbers. Hopefully someone can do some testing around this. Bounce/freeze DAW functionality is your friend!
PianoTeq 7 is definitely better, but I like versatility of this plugin - tons and tons of preset and interesting layered sounds. And Piano V sounds much better than it used to be, loads of presets and it is simply fun to mess around with.
