Knollis Basic School Needs Your Support
Nestled in the rural community of Bog Walk, the Knollis Basic School was a passion project for Lion Carl of Linstead.
The Lion’s Club of North St Catherine built and continues to support the small community school, which has a capacity for up to 70 children under the care of Principal Valda Rig-maiden, four teachers and a cook.
But the school desperately needs repairs and infrastructure upgrades to ensure a high-quality learning environment. The classrooms, restrooms, kitchen, and playground all need attention. And the school is currently without internet access.
Through his Club, Lion Carl’s family donated much-needed school supplies. Let’s reignite the light for Knollis Basic School in honour of Lion Carl.
Monetary contributions for Knollis Basic School may be donated through the Lion’s Club of North St Catherine.
