How to Ambient : A Setup to Create Spontaneous Soundscapes
Creating ambient soundscapes is my favorite thing. Lately I tried to change many things in my workflow and I am experimenting now with the Roland Sp404 MK2 as end of chain for audio and sample recording + mangling and audio processing.
With this new approach I also designed a system that allows me to create soundscapes and melodic improvisations on the fly.
The idea is to start with simple voices ( Vermona Perfourmer and Make Noise Strega ) and do heavy processing with pedals + the small TX6.
Oxi one is my sequencer of choice.
