The tip shown in this video can be applied in any DAW, although if you are using FL Studio then this becomes even more straightforward.
There is a simple preset called 'Side' inside the native 'Fruity Stereo Shaper' plugin which does exactly this. Put that directly on a mixer slot and you'd be done in one step.
