ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO Non-game day visit (It's worth going!)
ES CON Field Hokkaido is the new home ground for the NPB's Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. The ballpark is open 365 days a year. On clear days the retractable roof will be fully opened, and visitors can freely sit in the various parts of the outdoor bleachers and enjoy the view of the field.
The team shop, craft brewery and parts of the food court will be open on non-game days and it's a surprisingly fun experience even if the Fighters are out of town.
I made a stop on my way to catch a flight out of Shin-Chitose Airport and had a great time!
