Hey guys - Sean Dove here, today I thought we’d have a quick look at setting up an animated Dolly Zoom inside cinema 4D
A Dolly Zoom is typically an in-camera technique achieved by moving towards a subject while at the same time changing the cameras focal length
This is a great technique to enhance a situation and make it appear more dramatic
Made famous by movies like vertigo and jaws however it's not uncommon for animations to also take advantage of this effect to help asset with the story. With that in mind, let's jump into Cinema 4D and have a look at setting up a dolly zoom and see the results we can get.
Thanks for watching guys, really appreciate it!
