This is NO WAY a real negative review of the product or Mikey Formby. A ton of our customers use ProStyler and Mikey supports his products well.
We just thought you should know some stuff going in before purchasing...
There's going to be a lot of marketers promoting ThemeMaker as some sort of 1-click solution or easy builder which isn't accurate.
In my opinion, you should only purchase this if you're experienced with WordPress. I can't imagine a newbie trying to take this on. It would definitely be overwhelming and even if you are experienced, there will be a learning curve involved.
The user interface will take some getting used to as there are multiple places you would need to go and save things. It's not that intuitive and I didn't know what the hell I was doing or looking at after installation. It's a strange layout IMHO with multiple places to edit and save.
Granted, I just dove right in without looking at any instructions or tutorials because normally (like 99.9% of the time) I can figure these types of builders out quickly, right out of the box, but that wasn't the case with this.
When it comes to the training and tutorials associated with ThemeMaker, there's a lot of them. It will take time to go through all of them, but Mikey did an excellent job of making them clear and thorough. Before diving in, make sure to go through them or you will definitely struggle wrapping your head around this.
The real plus side, once you put in the time learning everything you need to know about ThemeMaker, and how to effectively use it, you can create practically anything, any type of site. It's VERY versatile.
So if you're experienced with WordPress, commit time to learning the ins and outs of ThemeMaker, you can do some awesome things with it.
If you're new to WordPress, don't have much time, or don't like design/tech stuff, this is definitely not for you and you should pass on it.
It's a great product, but not for newbies.
So when the emails start rolling in, just keep all this in mind before purchasing.
