The story behind the creation of the first Resident Evil film is almost more bizarre than the plot of the movie itself. Hardcore Resident Evil fans have been waiting for a proper adaptation of the survival horror classic for the silver screen. They may not have gotten exactly what they wanted with Paul W.S. Anderson decimating soldiers with laser trap rooms, but there was still some fun to be had. In one particular scene, Milla Jojovich snaps a zombie's neck with her thighs. (god, I wish that were me) Despite being an adaptation in the loosest sense, Resident Evil 2002 movie still holds a special place in my PSP UMD library.
