F-117 Nighthawk is a single-seat, twin-engine, all-weather, stealth attack aircraft that was developed and manufactured by Lockheed for the United States Air Force. It was the first operational aircraft to be designed with stealth technology, and it played a significant role in the Persian Gulf War and other conflicts. The aircraft was officially retired from service in 2008, but its legacy continues to influence military aircraft design today.
