Reason #4 I am Glad I Made the Switch to Olympus
In this video, I will demonstrate the weather resistance of the Olympus OM-D E-M1x and E-M1 Mark III camera bodies on site in Petersburg, Alaska. One of the reasons I love using Olympus gear is that I can get sand, dust, and other debris off my camera bodies and lenses by pouring water from a water bottle or a brief rinse under softly flowing water. This is not the case for ALL OM-D bodies and lenses.
Living and photographing in a wide variety of locales such as the dusty desert, blowing snow in Yellowstone, sandy beach in the Galapagos Islands, or heavy rain in Ecuador, I am able to shoot in any inclement weather without worrying about my gear or using a rain cover.
