Josephine Skriver is best known for her work as a print campaign and catwalk fashion model. She has been a Victoria's Secret lingerie model since 2013 and became in February 2016 a Victoria's Secret Angel. Skriver has worked the catwalk in over 300 fashion shows since her first full time season in 2011, plus has been in nearly as many advertising campaigns. Her supermodel status within the industry was achieved due to both the quantity and quality of her assignments and results. An advocate on LGBT issues and rights, Josephine Skiver Karlson was born on April 14, 1993 in Copenhagen, Denmark and was conceived through In vitro Fertilization by her gay father and lesbian mother.
