Unfortunately, the message of grace brought by Jesus has been diluted in the vessel of the church, like expensive wine poured into a jug full of water. We have forgotten that the love of Jesus is arbitrary and partial, causes perplexity, is shocking, unfair and offensive. God accepts into His house everyone who approaches Him with genuine repentance. Why be good, then, if we know in advance that we will be forgiven? Very simple: we will strive to grow in holiness, not to make God love us, but because He already does!
