The film takes put during the year 1957, where four children, Chris, Cathy, and the twins, Carrie and Cory live cheerfully with their parents, Corrine and Christopher . They are a cheerful family. Christopher has returned after a long time from work and has brought gifts for all of them. He could be a cherishing and caring father, which each child need in their life. Christopher gets promoted in his company. Everyone is cheerful with the promotion, but not Cathy. So he goes to Cathy’s room to explain to her. He gives her a ring to make her happy. At night, they toss a celebration party for their father's promotion.
Chris hears a car drawing closer and everybody stows away, considering it’s Christopher. But instead, a police officer comes in and tells them that an accident has occured. The family is in total stun as Christopher has died in a car accident. With Christopher’s passing, the family are cleared out with a overwhelming debt. Corinne inquires Cathy to send a mail to an address.
