I loved testing this recipe and sharing it with friends. It is super creamy, buttery, crisp, tangy, and officially the best way to enjoy goat cheese. If you are ever making a charcuterie board, choose your favorite flavor(s) and have fun building out your board around the incredible Goat Cheese Pastry
Recipe:
1x Large Goat Cheese Log (Any Flavor)
1 Sheet Puff Pasty Dough
1 Egg (Optional)
While the goat cheese is cold, roll it in the thawed pasty dough tightly, and tuck the ends under the log, with the seam side on the baking tray.
Brush on a layer of egg wash if you like the texta crispy crust.
Place back in the fridge to chill until you are ready to serve. Then Bake at 400F for 25 minutes on the bottom rack of your oven until golden brown and crispy.
Get creative! Drizzle on some honey, serve with some fresh or dried fruits, nuts, berries, and chocolates.
