How to Insert & Remove a Page Break in Google Docs | Working with Page Breaks

In this video, we’ll be showing you how to add or remove page breaks in Google Docs.

Page breaks are easy ways of starting a new page where the cursor is without pressing the enter key many times. If you want to start a new page without the mess of multiple returns, use page breaks! Let’s use page breaks in this Doc.

1. Set the blinking insertion point to where you want the page break.
2. Click Insert - Break - Page Break.
3. You can also use the shortcut Ctrl + Enter to create a page break.
4. To remove a page break, set the insertion point at the very beginning of the new page and hit backspace.
5. You can also scroll up to the previous page and click to the right of where the page breaks. You will notice that the insertion point is indented. This is where the page break is; press backspace.

Don’t forget that page breaks are much cleaner than pressing the enter key!
