Despite the Belgian Gaming Commission declaring loot boxes as gambling and making them a criminal offence, Hawaii's State of Representatives investigating their implementation and China's GSRR forcing Blizzard to disclose Overwatch drop rates, EA have responded by saying... loot boxes can be "fair" and "fun".
Because of course they have.
