How To Block Political Ads on Facebook
In this video, I'm going to show you a simple method to Block Political Ads on Facebook. Facebook announced this feature recently but there is no date on its release. Till then, you can use this Social Fixer tool to do the same.
Follow the link in the video description to this website and install the extension for your web browser.
When installed, you get a button for this extension near the profile options. Click that button and select Social Fixer Options from the popup.
Now, click this filters option and look for an Election/Politics 2020. Add that filter to your account and then enable it to block the election ads.
From the filter configurations, you can see how it works. It has an if-then condition. Whenever there is an ad with these words it automatically hides that. From here, you can add more words to the filter if needed.
In the end, save the changes and reloads the Facebook page for changes to take effect. And now you won't get any election or political ad on Facebook.
