Tokyo Tower is the communications and observation tower in the district of Minato, and was constructed in 1958.
Standing at 332.9 meters (1,092 ft), it held the title of Japan’s second-tallest tower until Tokyo Skytree was built in 2012, surpassing it as the country’s tallest tower.
The tower’s design is inspired by the Eiffel Tower, featuring a lattice structure painted white and international orange.
📍You can find this not-so-secret photo spot on Google Maps labeled as “Secret Tokyo Tower Spot” across the street from Toufuya Ukai.
This is still an extremely popular photo spot in Tokyo, so if you want to avoid waiting in line to take a picture you’ll have to wake up before the sun and trek over.
