Mass Effect’s First Contact War | FULL Mass Effect Lore
Before the Citadel became what it is during the events of the Mass Effect games, humanity had not even discovered what was outside of their galaxy. However thanks to a monumental discovery on Mars and Pluto, humanity was able to venture out of the Sol system into the vast Milky Way galaxy.
However, their journey into this unexplored territory would lead to them discovering an alien race, and immediately find themselves at war. This conflict would be known to humanity as the First Contact War and in todays video we look at the lore behind it, as well as all of the background context needed to understand why it started in the first place.
