BASED OFF A VIDEO I SAW THIS WORKS PERFECTLY ON A E7400 AND A Q6600 IN AN OPTIPLEX 760 SFF. THE E7400 GOES FROM 2.8 GHZ TO 3.5/ Q6600 GOES FROM 2.4 GHZ TO 3.0 GHZ! AWESOME CHEAP FSB BOOST THATS EASY PEASY!
HOWEVER WHEN TRIED IN A DIMENSION E520 THIS MOD WOULD NOT LET THE PC BOOT! BUT THAT MODEL WAS NOT DESIGNED FOR CORE 2 CHIPS ANYWAYS AND IT ONLY ACCEPTS A Q6600.
SO IF YOU HAVE AN OPTIPLEX 760 WITH THE MOST CURRENT BIOS AND A E7400 GRAB YOUR TAPE AND SCISSORS.
