This tutorial will present one way to return an average of an Excel range, whilst ignoring blanks, text, errors, as well as excluding the largest and smallest value in a range.
In this example, the AVERAGEIFS formula must disregard the largest value, 40, and the smallest value 10. The 90 value is already ignored because its Transaction # in cell B15 is blank.
