The dance is a series of sixteen movements performed in the rhythm of singing the mantra "Baba Nam Kevalam" and repeating cyclically. This is a good exercise for coordination. It will be better to study the two elements separately first, and then slowly and accurately connect them:
Movement of legs. We stand on our feet, straighten our backs and put the pincushion of the right foot behind the left heel and then return to its original position. Then the same thing should be done with the left foot pillow. This movement is done throughout the dance and sets the tempo to caousikam. To fix this movement, do 10 times on each side. Further we stop and we pass to the following element.
Movement of the hull. In the same position, standing with your back straight, we join hands in the palm of your hand over your head, touching your hands with your own ears. Fingers do not need to be crossed.
Now we need to bend 45 degrees to the right side for three slopes and then to rise to the starting position for 2 inclines. We do the same to the left. It is important that you do not wring your back and do it neatly (a total of 5 movements in each direction).
Then hands are stretched straight ahead in front of you and then in one movement we lower the body together with hands and touch the tips of the fingers of the floor. After that, raise the body and hands in one movement all the way up (total 3 movements).
Next, make two slopes back and one return to the starting position (3 movements).
In the standing position, we hit with the entire foot of the right, then with the left foot on the floor.
Combining the movements of the legs and body. This requires some patience at first, but will gradually come about as a matter of course. Therefore, we do very slowly and do not hurry. As soon as it turns out, do this dance at a pace that is convenient for you.
