Konar dam is the second of the four multi-purpose dams included in the first phase of the Damodar Valley Corporation. It was constructed across the Konar River, a tributary of the Damodar River in Hazaribagh district in the Indian state of Jharkhand and opened in 1955. The place has scenic beauty and has been developed as a recreational spot.
दामोदर घाटी निगम के पहले चरण में शामिल चार बहुउद्देश्यीय बांधों में से कोनार बांध दूसरा है। यह भारतीय राज्य झारखंड में हजारीबाग जिले में दामोदर नदी की सहायक नदी कोनार नदी के पार बनाया गया था और 1955 में खोला गया था। इस जगह में प्राकृतिक सुंदरता है और इसे एक मनोरंजक स्थान के रूप में विकसित किया गया है।
Konar Dam, built on the river Konar is the second dam built by the Damodar Valley Corporation as a part of their four multipurpose dam projects. Now it's a picnic spot and one can enjoy the beauty of nature and sit and gaze at the greenery around. Grand Chord is the nearest railway station.
कोनार नदी पर बना कोनार बांध दामोदर घाटी निगम द्वारा अपनी चार बहुउद्देशीय बांध परियोजनाओं के हिस्से के रूप में बनाया गया दूसरा बांध है। अब यह एक पिकनिक स्थल है और कोई भी प्रकृति की सुंदरता का आनंद ले सकता है और चारों ओर की हरियाली को निहार सकता है। ग्रांड कॉर्ड निकटतम रेलवे स्टेशन है।
