Man shot dead in North Melbourne | ABC News
Police are investigating a fatal shooting in North Melbourne this morning.
Emergency services were called to Langford Street where they found the man with a gunshot wound.
He died at the scene.
The area has been cordoned off as police work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Earlier witnesses described volatile scenes - with fights breaking out among a large number of young people who had gathered at the site.
