Steps:
If you are the owner of a group on Roblox and want to give the ownership to somebody else, here is how to do it via the mobile Roblox app for iOS and Android.
When you are on the roblox app, tap the 3 dots button at the bottom right to open the menu, and then select ‘groups’.
Select the group you want to edit,
Tap the 3 dots button next to the group name and then click ‘configure group’.
Scroll down to the ‘information’ section. where it says the owner of the group, click the ‘edit’ icon.
You now need to select the new owner of the group, enter their username into the search box. Select the person you want and then tap ‘OK’.
For security, you may now have been sent a security code to your email that you will have to enter here to continue. For me once I entered the code to confirm my identity, I had to set the new owner a second time for it to work.
If I reload the page for the group now you’ll see I have lost ownership controls and it shows a new group owner at the top.
