Since joining Duolingo in 2013, illustrator Greg Hartman has been responsible for major cosmetic changes to Duolingo's mascot, Duo. These changes include a variety of new expressions that help give Duo a distinct personality. Greg has now tackled the task of designing an entire cast of characters that live in Duo's world.
