filmic v4 will be released in August in darktable 3.2 !
Due to outstanding contributions during confinement, darktable is now almost 2000 commits behind 3.0, so we will release darktable 3.2 in August instead of Christmas, but the best part is darktable 3.4 is still on for Christmas.
Discover here the v4 of the filmic tone mapping module with improved color science for desaturation, and a new highlights reconstruction in wavelets space to help blending the transition between valid and clipped pixeds smoothly, but also recover color from the neighbourhood.
