Build Mode Cheats You Need To Know | The Sims 4 Guide
A guide on how to use many handy build mode cheats in The Sims 4. This includes cheats to move objects anywhere on the grid and allow them to intersect with other objects, cheats to build on hidden worlds, and cheats to allow access to additional objects to place. In particular there are five key build mode cheats that are very helpful. Hold Control + Shift + C to open the cheats bar and type in 'testingcheats true' to enable cheats. Here are the build mode cheats:
Move Objects cheat, which allows you to move objects anywhere on the grid and intersect them with other objects.
To turn on: bb.moveobjects on
To turn off: bb.moveobjects off
Next up is a cheat which allows you to build in areas you normally cannot, such as the Sylvan Glade, Forgotten Grotto and the magic realm.
To activate: bb.enablefreebuild
Next up is the two cheats to unlock debug items, and world items (such as rocks used in world creation) respectively:
bb.showhiddenobjects
bb.showliveeditobjects
Finally we have a cheat to allow you to buy objects that are locked behind careers or goals and objectvies.
To turn on: bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement
