The usual client onboarding process can be a significant drain on time and resources. These repetitive yet crucial activities (creating and sending invoices, writing up introductory emails, and booking introductory calls) often eat into valuable hours that could be better spent on strategic growth and client interaction. By automating the onboarding process, businesses can save a considerable amount of time, ensuring a more efficient workflow and allowing teams to focus on high-impact tasks.
In this video, I'll show you how to build an automated client onboarding system using Make.com. We'll start by setting up our automation trigger in Pipedrive, our CRM of choice. Next, we'll automatically generate and send an invoice to our prospective client via Stripe. Once the client completes the payment, we'll trigger the second half of our onboarding workflow. This includes: 1) generating a Calendly link for the client to book an introductory meeting, 2) curating and sending a personalized welcome email, 3) updating our deal to "won" in Pipedrive, and 4) creating a new private Slack channel for collaboration with our new client. All of this will be done automatically!
