Setup and review of the GameSir G6s mobile controller, built especially for iPhone and one of the best for iOS games like PubG Mobile and Call of Duty. GameSir has plenty of experience in the realm of mobile game accessories, and this controller is well designed with plenty of buttons. You get a combination of physical and touch input, ideal for CoD and other fast-paced action titles.
Setup of the GameSir G6s is a bit of a pain, for PubG Mobile at least. I had to manually configure all of the mappings, rather than using the preset values - as I explain here. However, once that was done, I enjoyed playing with this controller strapped onto my iPhone 11.
The button distribution could be better but the hardware works well and there's no latency with the Bluetooth 5 setup. So after testing the G6s, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an edge over the competition.
