In a cut along an oblique, as well as when cutting parts from thin plastic fabrics, the sections very quickly change length, stretch.
Even with a very careful layout and the use of "folk stabilization methods" (such as hairspray) and other techniques, slices can easily be deformed.
There is a well-known and widespread method - reinforcing stocks with strips of thin glue doubler or non-woven formband.
These methods are reliable and really well strengthen the slices. But often this leads to the fact that the seam becomes coarser, thicker. It can start puffing up where it is not expected at all.
Therefore, I use another way to stabilize the slices. At first I used it only for thin tissues, and then I realized that this method works on all fabrics where additional strengthening is required.
You will be surprised how easy this method is. And it is still very budgetary, since it does not need any additional adhesive materials. Only threads.
