Hacking Anki Vector SDK to enhance the Vector SDK API
This video will show how to hack the Anki Vector SDK in order not to take control of Vector during the initial connection when we are trying to program new skills into Vector. The way we are gonna mod the Anki Vector SDK, it will give us options to take control or not to take control and the original functionality will not be broken.
This will allow you to run your custom scripts and not impair Vectors original behavior so that your scripts will add to it.
If something goes wrong and you mess up the Anki Vector SDK, you can always do pip uninstall anki_vector and then do pip install anki_vector again in order to reset the SDK to its production codebase.
