How To Change The Power Steering Pump Astro / Safari
Power Steering Pump was leaking from the high-pressure line O-Ring. For Preventive Maintenance I decided to change the pump along with the high-pressure line. Pump uses an EVO solenoid, a bypass tube is installed in this video. Overall this is a straightforward job if you have the right tools. Hardest parts are removing the fan shroud nut, removing the pulley, and solo re-aligning the pump. Done on a 1997 GMC Safari RWD.
