In this tutorial we will discover step by step how to Publish data for a WebMapping application using PostGIS and Geoserver.
Data used in this tutorial are about fire stations ( fire stations, city limits and streets)


1) Download used shapefiles from this link : http://www.mediafire.com/download/4gj...
2) Install PostgreSQL and PostGIS
3) Create a Geodatabase in PostgreSQL
4) Import shapefiles into created database
5) Download and Install Geoserver
6) Publish layers in Geoserver
