Sup people, in this video we will start implementing our compute shader that will allow us to tint and modify the transparency of our custom and loaded textures. As a side note, I started creating myself an experimental tool to help me highlight code that i can easily narrate over, I've experimented using it in this video.

A commercial version of the Image Alpha Editor has now also been released on the Unity Asset Store, so I'll be adding extra considerations for the series to show what is required to have a tool or utility accepted by the Unity Asset Store, if you've ever been curious about releasing tools on the Asset Store.

A link to it can be found here:

There is no obligation to purchase this, unless you feel like supporting the channel or having this tool easily available to you via the package manager. This tutorial series will eventually cover all that is required to make this exact tool for yourself without having to purchase it.

Also I now have a youtube handle for this channel which is

I created an editor tool called Custom Visual Elements which is a tool that authors a Custom Element script of your choice, with whatever and however many exposed attributes you desire which saves you time from having to type out all the boilerplate code required to make a Custom Element usable in UI Builder so you can spend more time focusing on designing how your Custom Element will work.
