In 1953 the first gondola opened, which led up to the Vogeltal glacier. In 1987 this lift was replaced by a new combined gondola and chairlift. ( • Scrap Mechanic: Die STEILSTE Seilbahn... )
In September 2019, the old lift went out of service and was replaced by a new ten-person gondola, which is shown in this video.
