Animations are not yet supported by Unity DOTS, but there is one simple and flexible way to use animations with DOTS. That is the hybrid approach, where we will be running the logic in the entity world on systems, and the rendering with animations will be done using classic GameObjects. This approach is not the most performant, but other ways are complicated and dont work perfectly yet.
