I believe the biggest issue facing our country, quietly, over the last few decades has been the disappearance of small and local farms. Hundreds of thousands are closing every year. Or worse, they are being absorbed into big ag conglomerates, sold to developers, or sold to foreign entities.
With no farms, how do we eat? Our food supply chains are under attack, and we need to all care about this quickly before food autonomy is a thing of the past.
