I have no idea how to get the camera to work. I received this iMac Pro as a gift (used) and the camera has not worked at all. I went to Launchpad and then went to photobooth. And it says that the camera is not connected.
I am so frustrated. :/
Any help would be wonderful! Thank you, in advance.
My answer was:
Is there a chance that you have a sub-account on this Mac?
Follow these steps to find out:
Go to the black Apple icon (top left on screen) - (click on) System Preferences… - (click on) Users & Groups (in the 4th row in system preferences)
The ‘current user’ should be you and it should say ‘Admin’
If not, you’re probably in a ’sub-account’ listed under ‘Other Users’
If that is the case, have the Admin change your ‘Parental Controls’ in the System Preferences.
