Since 2007, he has been improving his skills under the guidance of Ryszard Bałauszko from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. He currently continues his studies there, in the class of Leszek Potasiński. Adam Woch was an Erasmus student attending Prof. Carlo Marchione’s class at the Maastricht Academy of Music (2011/2012).
Adam Woch has won prizes in over twenty Polish and international competitions. He has recorded for the Polish Radio and Television. He performs as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles. He has performed in many Polish cities as well as in Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, China and the United States.
His most important competition achievements include prizes in the “Segovia Junior” Polish Guitar Competition of Polish Radio BIS (Warsaw 2003), 1st prize in the International Guitar Competition in Memoriam of Czesław Droździewicz (Krynica Zdrój 2006), 1st prize in the 9th International Guitar Competition “Forum Gitarre” (Vienna 2006), 1st prize in the “José Tomás” International Classical Guitar Competition (Almería 2009), 1st prize in the 6th International Guitar Competition (Olsztyn 2009), finalist of the competition “Young Musician of the Year 2009” (Warsaw 2009), 1st prize in the GUITARTALENT International Guitar Competition (Brno 2012)."
