WWF SummerSlam 1992 was held in the United Kingdom (London, England) and the event has the distinction of being the only "big four" WWE PPV to be held in Europe. SummerSlam was held inside the iconic and legendary Wembley Stadium, and the main event would feature The British Bulldog vs Bret Hart for the Intercontinental Championship.
SummerSlam 1992 has quite an interesting backstory and the overall presentation of the show is also intriguing. The event came together thanks to the WWF's UK and European events co-ordinators; the Goldsmiths. Because of the time difference, SummerSlam broadcasts in the UK and the USA had multiple differences with the definitive version being released on home video only in the UK. Even today, the WWE Network version of SummerSlam 1992 is incomplete.
